Lothar Böhm

Group Executive Chairman



Lothar Böhm established the agency in 1972 and transformed the company into one of the most successful Branding and Packaging Design agencies in Europe. Today as Group Executive Chairman he promotes the international growth of the agency together with the management board in Hamburg, London and Warsaw. 

Throughout his career he has managed, built and created brands for blue chip companies, such as Beiersdorf (Nivea), Johnson & Johnson (Penaten, bebe) and Unilever (Knorr), both locally and international.

Privately owned companies, such as Bongrain and Ritter Sport have also worked with Lothar for many years.

Prior to being independent Lothar worked as a creative in classical advertising. He studied design at the FH in Aachen and at the Academy of Visual Arts in Munich.


Adrian Goldthorpe

Managing Partner



Adrian Goldthorpe leads London, as Managing Partner since 2011. Together with the management board he leads a team of creatives, client services and strategists. He is passionately committed to creating real brands through deep consumer understanding and creative intuition. His core focus is on branding strategy and tools which strengthen the branding process.

Before LBA, he worked as European Head of Strategy and Innovation for FutureBrand across most product sectors and countries including Brasil, Mexico, Japan, USA, Europe and Russia. His intercultural understanding influenced his successful work for international brands such as ABInbev, Unilever, Kraft, Cadbury, Nestlé, Verizon or UEFA.

Adrian has a BA (hons), MSc, PgDipM and is member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Design & Art Directors Association, and the Institute of Directors.

Meg Furness

Managing Partner



Since 2012 Meg Furness has been creating new beginnings for brands for Lothar Böhm Associates. Together with the management-board, she supervises a team of creatives, client services and strategists. Whilst her core focus is client service and new business, she also manages the finance and operations for London.

She has over 20 years’ of experience in strategic and tactical brand communication, working half of her career in Advertising and Activation and the other half in Branding. She has amassed extensive experience working for international brands such as McDonalds, Unilever, Dupont, BBC, General Mills, Wholefoods, ABinBev and Prada.

Before LBA, she was a member of the London Management Team for FutureBrand and has worked and lived in the USA whilst at The Marketing Store.

Meg has a BA (hons) and an MBA (AMBA).
